This Privacy Policy explains what data Floop collects, why it's collected, how it's used, and your rights over it.

1. What Data Floop Collects

What you give us

Your name — provided during Google Sign-In, used to personalise your experience and for the AI to address you
Your email address — used only for account identification and important service communications
Your app content — expenses, income records, goals, tasks, reminders, and notes you create
AI prompts — the text you send to the AI assistant, processed to generate responses

What's collected automatically

Device info — device model and OS version, used for crash reporting and compatibility
Usage data — which features you use, session duration, credit usage, and error logs, used to improve Floop
Crash reports — technical error data when the app crashes

Note: Floop does not collect your location, contacts, call logs, SMS, or any camera/microphone data.

From third parties

Google Sign-In — Oxinius receives your name and email from Google. Your Google password is never shared with Oxinius.
Ad networks — if you watch rewarded ads, ad partners (like Google AdMob) may collect your Google Advertising ID (GAID) under their own privacy policies.

Oxinius does not sell your data, use it for advertising profiles, or share it for any purpose beyond what's listed above.

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

Your data lives in two places:

On your device — stored locally using WatermelonDB so Floop works offline
On Oxinius servers — synced via a backend built with Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL, hosted in India

All data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Access to your data on Oxinius servers is restricted to authorised personnel only.

4. How Long Data Is Kept

Your data is kept as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently deleted from Oxinius servers within 30 days. Anonymised analytics may be retained indefinitely.

5. Who Oxinius Shares Data With

Oxinius does not sell or rent your data. Data is only shared in these situations:

AI providers — your name and prompts are sent to third-party AI model providers to generate responses. These providers process data under agreements that prevent them from using your data to train their own models.
Google AdMob — only if you choose to watch rewarded ads. Governed by Google's privacy policy.
Google — limited account info is exchanged as part of Google Sign-In.
Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or a government authority.
Business transfer — if Oxinius is acquired or merged, your data may transfer. You will be notified in advance.

6. Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

Oxinius will respond to all requests within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

Floop is for users aged 13 and above. Oxinius does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe your child under 13 has an account, email oxinius37@gmail.com immediately and the account will be deleted.

8. Ads

Free users can watch optional rewarded video ads to earn extra credits. These ads are served by Google AdMob.

AdMob may use your Google Advertising ID to show relevant ads. You can opt out or reset your ad ID anytime in your Android settings under Google → Ads. Watching ads is completely optional.

9. Google Play Data Safety

For Google Play's Data Safety section:

10. Changes to This Policy

Oxinius may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, you'll be notified via the app or email at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Floop after changes means you accept the updated policy.
